I had to make all new social media accounts and I still can’t get logged back into some apps because I have a new phone number as well. I’ve also lost access to ALL of my apps and accounts as well. I just thought it was a neat feature I guess.
I don’t even remember why I got it because I didn’t need the extra security. Unless you’re some sort of high level security person you don’t need this app, DO NOT get it. I lost all of my daughters newborn photos, my wedding photos and countless other memories I will never be able to retrieve. In turn I lost access to my google photos account that had over 18,000 photos backed up to it. I didn’t even get a new phone so there’s no “new phone” to get the codes from. I lost access to my google account I’ve had my entire life after I got a new phone number and had to get a new iCloud account.
